At 17, he began vocal study with Dr. Lyle Moore and was subsequently awarded substantial scholarships to continue studying with Dr. Moore at both EWU and Whitworth.
David’s storied musical career has taken him on tours all around the United States, performing as a vocalist and with the guitar, piano, and flute, to name just a few. He has toured with Fred Waring’s Pennsylvanians, appeared on an album by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, and shared the stage with countless music groups over the decades.
In 1971, David accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior. He actively strives to grow his talents for the Lord and is eager to help all who wish to do so in their own lives. He and his wife Cathi, an accomplished musician in her own rite, have been married 41 years and reside in Post Falls, Idaho.

Kayleen trained in Ballet for 10 years at Ballet Arts Academy in Spokane, WA. After transitioning to musical theatre, her passion for storytelling on stage was cultivated with training in a multitude of dance styles including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, swing and ballroom. In 2021, Kayleen earned a BA in Children and Family Ministries from Moody Bible Institute where she studied human development and education. While at Moody, she enjoyed membership in Shadowbox Productions, the on campus worship and performing arts group.
During the day, Kayleen works at a counseling center where stories of heartbreak become healing journeys. In the evenings, you can often find Kayleen performing in and choreographing for musical theatre productions and developing aspiring dancers. Mrs. Geiger’s love for the Lord is apparent as she guides her students in their own unique stories to praise their Savior through the Arts.
With her husband and their dog, Samwise the Aussie, Kayleen enjoys the outdoors, caring for her house plants, and baking sourdough. As a skilled and experienced teacher of all ages, Kayleen is elated is to be apart of the Oaks Conservatory.
Heather St. onge - ballet
Intermediate and Advanced Students

Heather received her instruction in classical ballet from Ceci Klein at Ballet Coeur d’Alene starting at six years old. Klein maintained a standard of excellence that would form Heather’s strong foundation in classical ballet. Later, Heather would study at The Spokane Valley Academy of dance, where she would further her training in classical ballet and other dance styles.
Heather earned her B.A. in history in 2020 and her Masters in Education in 2021 from Whitworth University. During her time in university, she joined their dance ministry called Jubilation, where she taught classes in ballet and contemporary dance and had the unique opportunity to share not only her love of dance, but her love of God as well.
Since graduating from Whitworth, Heather has taught as a middle school history, English, and art teacher. She currently teaches English at Lake City High School. Throughout her time as a teacher she has continued to teach dance classes part time.
From those early days of dreaming of pointe shoes and tutus to becoming a dance teacher dreaming of inspiring another generation of dancers, Heather has always cherished the gift of dance. She is thrilled to share her knowledge of classical ballet with the Oaks students and even more so to be able to teach students to dance for the glory of God.
“The Lordship of Christ should include an interest in the arts. A Christian should use these arts to the glory of God, not just as tracts, mind you, but as things of beauty to the praise of God.”
-Francis A. Schaeffer, Art and the Bible
