Brenden Archer has been playing all sorts of percussion instruments since he was ten years old. Fueled by a passion for music the Lord gave him, elementary band grew into high school drum line leadership, playing drum set and vibraphone for jazz bands, going to state for orchestral snare drum, and even joining a bagpipe band!
Mr. Archer’s classical study of percussion led him to Whitworth University, where he graduated with his B.A. in Music with an emphasis in Instrumental Performance. During his time, he performed as a member of the Whitworth Wind Symphony and Whitworth Jazz Band, performed as a concerto soloist in the Fox Theater, and composed mallet percussion solos of his own. Brenden later received his Master’s in Business Administration from Whitworth.
Brenden currently serves as the Worship and Communications Director at Fourth Memorial Church, where he leads worship with the guitar. He also serves as the head coach for women’s tennis at Gonzaga Preparatory School.
Brenden is thankful to the Lord to get to serve others in various capacities, and to share with others the joy of God-glorifying music-making.

Lily Eads fell in love with the violin when she was three years old. She started out fiddling under Jaydean Ludiker, a 4-time National Fiddle Champion before switching to classical training. She has competed in the Northwest Regional Fiddle Contest, played for four years in the Spokane Youth Symphony, and regularly serves the worship team at Faith Bible Church. As the oldest of five, Lily loves working with kids, and after having taught several students privately over the last three years, she is so excited to be a part of the Oaks Conservatory!
Mrs. Eads approach is to start her students with simple fiddle tunes, to encourage and cultivate a love for music as soon as possible. Classical instruction then stokes the fire when students are eager for such challenges.
One of her fondest memories growing up was going to retirement homes and playing well loved tunes such as “Edelweiss” and “Red Wing”, bringing both nostalgia and smiles. Her goal is to give her students the ability and the desire to bless those around them with their music and give God the glory and praise.

“The Lordship of Christ should include an interest in the arts. A Christian should use these arts to the glory of God, not just as tracts, mind you, but as things of beauty to the praise of God.”
